I know I am way behind on The Pioneer Woman's recipes. I have both of her cookbooks and have been making food with her recipes for years. I really don't see the point of posting her recipes on this little blog of mine. reason #1- I don't have a high number of readers #2 - Ree really doesn't need praise for her food: the fact that she has her on blog, cookbooks and Food Network TV show pretty much sums it up . But I am going to make an exception with these sandwiches. They are wonderful. I make these for my husband and sons and they have happy faces as they walk into the kitchen and smell the meat cooking. One of those smells that they know what is coming to the table. I do add 3 cloves of garlic that I chop very fine, which is the only thing I changed from the original recipe. I usually end up doubling the recipe, with a husband and two teenagers that eat two sandwiches each and there is enough for lunches the next day. I do recommend that you listen to Ree when she says to make sure to liberally butter the bread and toast it well. The buttery, toasty goodness makes the sandwich! I think it would not be as good if you just used bread and did not toast it. Just my opinion though. I am not going to repost the recipe, because I do not want to get into copyright trouble with PW or Food Network, so I am just going to add a link to where you can find the recipe. Go get the ingredients to make these sandwiches asap! You will not be sorry.

Thanks for sharing!! We enjoy some of PW's recipes too - though this is one I haven't gotten around to yet. My carnivore hubby and son would probably love them too. :)
